Establishing a regular exercise schedule post bub is tough! However, If health and fitness is a necessity to keep insanity at bay – as it is for me – you make time!
Since having bub #3 I have managed 2 absolute non-negotiable days back at the gym. These are my weight training days. I fell in love with weight training a few years ago now, when an injury forced me to leave the running track, and have been a devotee ever since.
Of course there are countless benefits to lifting weights, but in my experience, the thing I love the most is the feeling of inner strength, lifting weights provides.
They say running provides a time for the brain to think things through and throw out what it doesn’t need. Lifting weights give the inner self strength to sort the stress and overcome the worries.
