Lana From BPS Tensgrity gave me the private tour of her new studio this morning, now located in Taren Point. Besides it’s sleek modern décor and upmarket vibe, the studio could be mistaken for an adventurous hideaway for couples looking to enhance intimacy, as stated by two curious tilers that assisted the fit out. With machines that look more like a particular swing Samantha Jones experimented with in a memorable SATC episode, the new studio made me want to strip down and stretch out. As a sufferer of scoliosis I am always eager to find new ways to assist the dilemma my condition causes on a daily basis, I never considered the word ‘trapeze’ to be an avenue to relief.
Lana’s studio offers the principles of Pilates, however machinery like the Reforma, Trapeze & Ladder Barrels provide more support and challenge for the user, and is effective therapy from a rehabilitation point of view. BPS can also offer clients professional support from a resident Nutritionist and Clinical Psychologist. If in need of an anatomical make over, I can’t imagine a better offer than the services BPS Tensgrity provide.
